My weekly oil painting classes online!
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, I moved my weekly painting classes online.
These are the same classes. The same content. The same interactivity. Just online.
These are live ongoing classes in painting realistically using oil paint. These are for those who have some experience with drawing or who have painted before but want a formal structure in which to develop greater skill and knowledge. If you are a complete beginner, I periodically offer a Bootcamp workshop for you to learn the basics, or you can take a private class.
Classes are on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
The class begins with a lesson on painting elements, principles, materials, or techniques that can be applied to your interest whether portraiture, landscape, still-life, etc. We follow a sequence so that the learning builds from one month to the next.
Depending on what we are studying, you might do an exercise or just incorporate the lesson into what you are painting. You can focus on whatever subject you like and we also have subject-specific classes such as portraits and landscape.
There is always an opportunity for questions on any aspect of painting and I provide interactive feedback, help, and encouragement.
Classes are three hours long and enrollment is for a month (4 sessions).
Because I am still working out the kinks of doing these interactive, real-time classes online, they will be free for the month of April.
