Something always goes wrong. It’s inevitable.

Every time I’ve had an open studio or exhibition, something unforeseen happened.

Now, I wait for it so that I can finally relax. I figure it can only get better from there, right?

This February is For Love of Art Month in Las Cruces and I’m participating in the Studio Tour in my new downtown location at 221 N. Main St.

But the guidebook still has my address from last year at the old studio. No worries. If you do go there, please stop in next door to see Storm Sermay, Emmitt Booher, and Will Keener’s photos.

Afterward, you can head downtown to my NEW studio which is just north of the Rio Grande theatre. It’s the yellow building with the big 221 on it, between the Rio Grande theater and the Southwest Environmental Center. From North Main enter at the turquoise doorway that leads to M. Phillips Gallery. I’m mid-way down the corridor on the right. From the back parking lot off Water Street, enter under the big 221 sign.

For February, I’ll be open on Saturdays from 10-4 pm.

I’ll also be open for the First Friday Art Ramble from 5-8 pm. That’s tomorrow.

Hope to see you there.
