Orchid – Spring Sensation
This was the first orchid I purchased and it blooms twice a year, but I think it secretly likes spring the best. Don’t you just love the intricate patterns orchids display? This one is almost like fine lace.
Companions
A group of different orchid flowers clustered closely together in intimate communion with each other. All from the Phalaenopsis family but each with its own personality. They must be one of the easier types to grow since they have become the most commercialized in the States.
Mellow Yellow
With no allusions to Donovan’s song, I called this Mellow Yellow because of how the color seemed to be in more of a minor key against the more neutral background. This cluster of blooms seems rather regal to me.
