My studio is dark. There are no windows and very little light filters through the door. I have lots of artificial light, but it’s not the same.
My kitchen, on the other hand, has two sky lights and the bright New Mexican light is wonderful. One morning as I was sitting at the kitchen table looking at how the light fell on the fruit I decided I had to paint it. I hope you like the result.
