Glass plate project in Israel

I haven’t posted for 6 weeks because I was in Israel and have been quite busy since my return.  I could have posted while I was away of course, but I was having too much fun!  I was working on a project to copy old glass plates and make special enclosures to stabilize some of them.  Here are a couple of pictures of our work.

This is Nabil folding a four-flap enclosure to wrap the glass plate in.
A plate in the enclosure.
This is one of the sink mats I made to stabilize a broken plate.
Here’s Lorraine copying plates the old fashioned way after the scanner broke.
