Facing Myself

I haven’t changed my Facebook photo since I opened the account some years ago. I don’t like photos of myself and posted a painted self-portrait cropped from a larger painting instead. I decided at the beginning of May to do a portrait a day of myself and post it on my Facebook profile. This would give me a chance to draw more from the most available and least expensive model I could find.

 

I wanted to do a couple of dozen portraits before posting, but my good friend Jenni Higginbotham challenged me to start now since she decided to do it as well. So we are doing a face a day for…? A year seems like such a long time. Perhaps I’ll just do the next one and see how it goes.
