These paintings are dedicated to Fariba Kamalabadi and Mahvash Sabet and other Iranian Baha’is in prison for practicing their religion. They also honor the ten Baha’i women, aged 17 to 57, executed in Iran in 1983 because they would not recant their faith.The  658 skies represent days they were unable to go outside and freely enjoy their lives.
