These paintings are dedicated to Fariba Kamalabadi and Mahvash Sabet and other Iranian Baha’is in prison for practicing their religion. They also honor the ten Baha’i women, aged 17 to 57, who were executed in Iran in 1983 because they would not recant their faith.

Each sky represents a day they were unable to go outside and freely enjoy their lives. Please join me in saying a prayer for them when you see the sky.
