Cherish is a talented student, fairly quiet and a hard worker. She did some interesting work for the class. This is the first time I’ve attempted a tatoo. I may try another one. Cherish, oil on panel, 6×6 in  

Eliza, oil on panel, 6×6 in Eliza was one of the quitetest of all the students in the class. Quietly working away. Another portrait with glasses. If I do enough maybe they’ll get easier.

Angela, oil on panel, 6×6 in Angela took two drawing classes this last semester which meant she was drawing at least 3 hours every day from the model. So jealous!

Carleen, oil on panel, 6 x 6 in Carleen (don’t you just love that name!) is very focussed on doing the best she can. She worked very hard and even the other students were commenting on what amazing progress she made in such a short time. Her last drawing wowed everyone. | Available

Daniel, oil on panel, 4×4 in Daniel often wore this cap to class even in fairly mild fall weather. A graphic design major, he often appeared in Ryan’s drawings. This is the 4th painting for the 30 in 30 Challenge I’m participating in sponsored by Leslie Saeta. | Available

Brenda, oil on panel, 6×6 in I’ve started painting a series of oil portraits of my students. We spend so much time together each semester and I enjoy getting to know them. I love watching their work develop. Brenda is a talented artist and did some great drawings.
